Candid Films was founded by Jo Austin — an independent screen producer, director and production manager with a decade of experience across documentary, branded entertainment and major commercial campaigns.

Candid's work has been recognised with Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia and Effie awards, and has since grown into a studio known for its entertainment slate, developing original broadcast and film projects alongside its client work.

As a factual director and filmmaker, Jo established Candid’s Signature projects to offer organisations cinematic storytelling that elevates internal and B2B communications beyond traditional corporate content.
